I tried to use light burn but When I do the scan it says no device found and I don’t see a manual option to pick the laser I have or maybe there is one but it’s just in a slang I don’t know yet (like I said I’m a noob) anyways I’m running windows 10 and the laser I bought is a HTPOW JL1 but the instructions take me to another website called wanliux which has another JL1 that looks just like mine.
And although I followed the instructions on the app it will not connect. When I unplug it it makes the disconnect noise so I’m thinking the wire and plugs aren’t the issue. When I plug it in my computer makes the noise to say somethings plugged in but it doesn’t show anything in my task manager. The laser came with a thumb drive and some Chinese videos which I followed (to my best ability) on downloading the driver and the software to use it but I can’t get my laser to connect to anything… it came with a usb to what I believe is a Ethernet connection and it says it can also connect via WiFi to my phone through a mobile app. It’s plugged in belts run smooth the guide lasers out and it homes to the top left corner.

The only problem is I can not for the life of me figure it out. Free Download LightBurn 1.2.01 Full Version - Latest Offline Installer - Layout, editing & control software for laser cutters. Of course it’s some Amazon cheap Chinese made laser but it seems pretty sturdy and strong and should be great for me to learn on. So I seen a great deal on a laser engraver and couldn’t pass it up. If you don't have access to the computer, LightBurn has a customer-facing license portal that anyone can use to manage license activations.Alright I’m sorry I tried not to have to resort to this but I can’t find help or a answer anywhere and I don’t know anyone who uses laser engravers so I figured this platform may be able to help me. If you would like to transfer LightBurn to a new computer, and still have access to the old computer, you can deactivate it using these instructions: If you ever have a hard disk fail, or sell a computer, we can remove the computer from the license for you, as long as we have your license key.

That will remove the old computer from your license, and then you can install the license on the new machine. In LightBurn, go to Help > License Management, and click the Deactivate button.
If you get a new computer and want to move the license to it, just deactivate the old computer first. Please note that the two computer limit doesn't mean you can only install the software twice - the license system in LightBurn keeps track of which computers you have the key installed on. If you renew before your license expires, we'll add an extra two months. Renewing your license will add a year of updates from today. If you choose to renew your license to receive another year of software updates. If you download a version of the software released after your license expires, it won't work. When it expires, it's still valid, you just don't get updates any more.
